• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following: Work Location’s Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations Client’s Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying Client’s Safety Management Systems • Familiar with the all phases of oil well services campaigns contracts. • Familiar with Work-over operations and aware of their impact on contractual clauses/procedures. • Familiar with both Project and Corporate contract and finance procedures. • Awareness of cost reporting, project planning and project feasibility studies • Awareness of compliance and audit process • Understanding of project accountancy • Ability to identify changes and improvements to contract procedures to reflect Company’s changing requirements • Ability to initiate and promote the function of contract administration • Awareness of the processes and activities surrounding Project Cost and Risk analysis • Knowledge of computer based systems including, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent packages. • EDMS skills and awareness of Project data & document control procedures
Key responsibilities and accountabilities • Exercise full line responsibility for Health, Safety and Environmental matters in BOOFS operations and drive the implementation of BOOFS Safety Management System ensuring the highest standards are achieved in the work carried out by Operations personnel. • With the help of Operation Manager Undertake work-over operations performance evaluations and make subsequent recommendations to continuously improve BOOFS efficiency of execution. • Support MD in defining the Contract Management strategy and establishing the systems, processes, and organization for effective contract management. • Attend the contract meeting with the client and verify the completeness of the Contract documents 7 procedure. • Ensuring the company compliance with Contract Terms and Conditions, Scope of Work, Deliverables, and Schedule. • Review the Contractor’s Monthly Report advising Managing director on contractual issues (potential claims, liabilities, etc.) and contractor non-performances, advising appropriate actions to be taken • Review progress prior to Contractor meetings, and provide input (attend as appropriate) Review outcomes of the Contractor meetings and advise on further action. • Review correspondence from/to the Client & Sub Contractor. Provide general contractual/commercial advice for the Managing Director and project team members involving Operation, HR, QHSE & Finance as appropriate • Foster and develop positive customer relationships which result in increased business. Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide opportunities for the company • Act as a focal point for the company provides advice for acceptance/rejection to Managing director. Advise appropriate action to take in case of extra-contractual charges. • Liaison with Operation, Finance and Managing director on submission of bid documents. • Interact with Managing director to maintain relationships with customers during project execution. • Provide necessary assistance to the Managing Director in contractual negotiation and dispute resolution. • Review draft sub-contract inquiries, bid evaluations, and draft sub-contracts, as prepared by the Contractor and obtain appropriate approvals/comments • Following up new business opportunities, Planning and preparing presentations and setting up meetings with customers • Gather and analyze market intelligence for new projects and opportunities, Provide inputs to management based on market information to enable the organization to develop capability in areas to give us strategic leverage for future projects.
